16 Paws Pottery is the dream child of Pat Miller and Bruce Bucklin. Our studio in Hamilton, Virginia is a place where we can spend our time doing something we love - throwing pots. If you have ever tried it you know what we mean; if you have not, there could be a joy in store for you. There are also some people for whom there is no thrill in diving into a wet pile of clay, but who can enjoy the feeling a quality, finished pot gives when you look at it on your shelf or hold it in your hands.

All of our pottery, with the exception of Raku pieces, are food safe, and can be used in the dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer. Pottery should not, however, go directly from one to the other. When cooking with stoneware pottery, after you put your food in them, place them in a cold oven and let them heat up with the oven. Add 10 to 15 minutes to your cooking time.
