I have studied ceramics for almost 10 years, but I still consider myself a student, as I there is a great deal to learn. I am torn between making functional pottery which sells, and making decorative pottery which pleases me, but tends to elicit the question "What do you do with it?" I have studied most recently with David Norton at the Old Furniture Factory in Round Hill, VA, and with Dale Marhanka at the Art League School in Alexandria, VA. I have taken workshops with Bill van Gilder, John Hasselberth, and Chris Staley.
Below are some of my pots, and I invite constructive criticism and questions at Bruce@16pawspottery.com.
