I have been studying ceramics with David Norton since March of 2006. I've also attended numerous pottery workshops including a wood-fired workshop with Bill Van Gilder. Throwing pots is not only a pleasure, it is therapeutic as well. I enjoy both throwing on the wheel and hand building. Experimenting with various surface decorations such as slip and sgraffito also intrigue me. I like to incorporate images from nature in my work, such as fish, oak leaves or pine cones.
